The Secret Teachings 7/18/18 – German Atomic Bombs, Forged History & Psychopaths (Wednesday)

Tonight we will be exploring the testing and usage of the atomic bomb by the US and Germany in the 1940s. We will also have a look psychopaths (or violent social behavior) and explore why certain ideologies are more prone to spreading degeneracy throughout culture.

Trinity Bomb (Plutonium) – Alamogordo, New Mexico, July 16, 1945

Little Boy (Uranium) – Hiroshima, August 6, 1945

J. Robert Oppenheimer said the bomb dropped on Japan was of “German Provenance.”

Fat Man (Plutonium) – Nagasaki, August 9, 1945

Unterseeboot-234 was originally a mine-layer, but was converted into a cargo carrier, for its only mission into enemy waters – a shipment to Japan. It sailed from Keil on March 1945 carrying:

On board: Dr. Heinz Schlicke – inventor of fuses for atomic bombs; Two Japanese officers (later committed suicide); Two dismantled ME-262 jet fighters ; Ten gold-lined cylinders containing 560 kilograms of uranium oxide; Infrared proximity fuses.

On May 14, 1945, six days after German surrender, U-234 was intercepted by the USS Sutton. Upon its journey no other Allied aircraft fired on the vessel. Upon arriving at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, much of the cargo was missing. The Navy manifest did not account for seventy tons of cargo.

No usable fuse: American plutonium bomb could not be completed without a quicker fuse that could match the necessary critical mass to be achieved within 1/3,000th of a second.

Not enough uranium: December 28, 1944 letter by Eric Jette, chief metallurgist at Los Alamos, concerned about the amount of uranium available for a bomb. He wrote: “A study of the shipment of [weapons grade uranium] for the past three months shows the following…: At Present rate we will have 10 kilos by February 7 and 15 kilos about May 1.”

Little Boy contented 64.15 kilograms of enriched uranium – about the entire amount that could have been enriched if scientists at Oak Ridge were working round the clock from mid-1944 until the next year.
