Humans are being degraded and machines are being elevated to a higher status by industry and perhaps something more parasitic in nature; perhaps something extraterrestrial or extra-dimensional that has penetrated our reality to trick humans into giving up free-will and building their own mechanical prison.

Progress: forward or onward movement toward a destination

Technology offers us with many conveniences, but so much of the time we perceptually “save” isn’t necessarily utilized to any benefit, especially when compared with the possible ramifications of utilizing advanced technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence.

Technology: the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry
