Host Ryan Gable will be talking about the recent strike on the country of Syria by the United States, which coincides with Friday 13th in the US and the entrance into the Beltane Festival. The Russians and Americans were both about to pull out of Syria, and the Syrian government had all but defeated Isis, and yet we are told that al-Assad decided to use chemical weapons on his own people.
In the midst of all else, as Israel is largely responsible for aggressive actions against the Syrians, April marks Holocaust Remembrance in Israel with many believing that, according to polls, Americans are largely unconcerned with Jewish genocide and therefore should be educated more on the subject. What is it exactly about Jewish suffering that warrants more concern than the suffering of anyone else? What is it about the supposed suffering of Syrian children being gassed that makes their pain any more than the results of a massive military strike on the same country by the wes.
Holocaust: destruction or slaughter on a mass scale, especially caused by fire.
Genocide: the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation.
Fire and death are both key components of historical events, from the American Civil War to American Revolution, that were begun on in April during Beltane. Holocausts do not belong to Jews anymore than any other group. What is being done to country after country, and American culture, constitutes genocide and holocaust on a mass scale every day.
