Host Ryan Gable will be talking with cohost Jack about the subject of free will and suicide. Other subjects include the “alert” issued to Hawaii about an incoming missile, something that accidental or otherwise, may have been a social test, similar to the 1938 reading of H.G. Wells’ “War of the Worlds” on CBS by Orson Wells. The idea that all humans and animals should and can be saved, is a misplaced, egotistic attempt to preserve lives often tormented by lifestyles of excess. Just as technology is constantly touted as the savior of mankind, while corporations utilize the factor of convenience to gather large quantities of data on users for profit and control.
Free Will: the power of acting without the constraint of necessity or fate; the ability to act at one’s own discretion.
Discretion: the freedom to decide what should be done in a particular situation.
The stories of Hawaii and the 1938 CBS reading, are perfect examples of intentional situations created, or those exploited and extracted from natural events, to determine how people react to certain stimuli. By understanding the who, what, where, why and how, of people’s actions, it makes it far easier for government, law enforcement, advertisers and corporations, etc., to exercise control over an individual, with that person believing they are making every decision in life free of interference or influence.
