Host Ryan Gable will be joined once more, in PART 2 of this two part series on animals and consciousness, by cohost Jack (from the messenger of information website) to talk about “the animal industry.” How awful do humans treat other living creatures do to ego, arrogance or ignorance? How do we justify our treatment of animals based on the Biblical notion that we have “dominion” over them, a word meaning control and sovereignty, which more than implies responsibility over animals and nature. This responsibly is not to turn life into a business and slaughter everything, human and animal, that gets in the way of fabricated economic gains.
This does NOT mean eating animals is WRONG, but the ways in which we treat animals is as violent as we treat other humans and ourselves. The root source of this problem stems from our reluctance to show restraint and exercise RESPONSIBILITY in our dominion.
What is in the food we feed our pets and how may it be harming them in the same way it harms us, cultivating an world where not only are humans diabetic, overweight, dumbed down, have cancer, and so many other ailments, but animals do too.
Ryan and Jack will discuss the total disregard for life on Earth and provide stats and analysis of the multitude of ways humans slaughter and exploit innocent animals.
