Bovine Cow Serum – This is extracted from a cow’s skin and when it is injected into the human body it can cause connective tissue disorders, shortness of breath, low blood pressure, chest pain and skin irritations (Don’t forget the cows eat GM corn too).
Sorbitol – Is a synthetic sweetener that causes nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps, respiratory issues, dizziness, rectal bleeding, anal irritation, and it can also cause IBS, irritable bowl syndrome, to flare up.
Octoxynol-10 (Triton X-100) – This is a cleaning detergent.
Phenoxyethanol – This is a glycol ether chemical highly toxic to the nervous system, kidneys, and liver, the areas that are also affected by GMOs and food dyes. The FDA even warns that this substance can cause a shutdown of your central nervous system (CNS), and may enable you to contract dermatitis when used in cosmetics like sunscreen (shown to increase your risks of cancer) and skin creams.
Ethylene Glycol – This is a material used in plastics, paint, dyes, and in the fabric industry for the manufacturing of polyester. It is a colorless liquid with a sweet taste also used as antifreeze and hydraulic brake fluid. Simply ingesting it can lead to poisoning and death. When it enters the body it breaks down, much like Aspartame and HFCS, chemicals that damage the brain, kidneys and heart.
MRC-5 (Human Diploid) Cells – These originate from human aborted fetal tissue and this relates to reports that Pepsi, Kraft, and Nestlé, have all been using aborted fetal cells in the flavoring of their products. These companies partnered with a company called Senomyx that uses kidney cells from aborted human embryos to ‘test’ flavorings that go into your food and beverages.
Human-Diploid Fibroblast Cell Cultures – These originate from human aborted fetal tissue taken from the lungs.
Sodium Chloride – Although this may be common table salt, when it is injected into the body it can cause an inhibiting of muscle contraction and growth, as well as an increase in blood pressure.
Aluminum hydroxide & Aluminum Phosphate – Both are directly linked to causing Alzheimer’s disease.
Ammonium Sulfate – An inorganic chemical compound used as fertilizer, which has been linked to liver damage as well as gastrointestinal problems.
Phenol Acid – Also referred to as carbolic acid, hydroxybenzene, oxybenzene and phenylic acid. It is a white, crystalline poison derived from coal tar, as are most of the food colorings we use to stain our foods. Phenol acid is used in herbicides and lice shampoo.
Ammonium Sulfate – Inorganic salt used in fertilizer and in vaccines.
Formaldehyde – Used to embalm bodies. Formaldehyde is colorless, toxic, carcinogen and has a suffocating odor. It is used to manufacture resins and plastics and acts as a neurotoxin and nerve poison. It is considered one of the most hazardous toxins to human health, as it can cause liver damage, reproductive deformation, respiratory distress and cancer. The U.S. National Toxicology Program also describes formaldehyde as “known to be a human carcinogen.”
Some people are more sensitive than others to formaldehyde exposure, especially when it is inhaled. In the case of vaccines, you are injecting it into the body directly, not to mention children with little to no developed immune system.
Do not take my word for it, or the U.S. NTP, but just read what the CDC.gov website says:
“Formaldehyde is known to cause cancer… Exposure to formaldehyde might increase the chance of getting cancer even at levels too low to cause symptoms.”
“Formaldehyde exposure is a special concern for children and the elderly. Children may become sensitive to formaldehyde more easily, which may make it more likely they will become sick. Elderly people may be less able to tolerate high formaldehyde exposures. If children or elderly people are in your home, it is important to reduce their exposure to formaldehyde.”
So if formaldehyde exposure is such a “special concern for children,” according to the CDC, then why is it injected into children!?
According to the National Cancer Institute…
“Although the short-term health effects of formaldehyde exposure are well known, less is known about its potential long-term health effects. In 1980, laboratory studies showed that exposure to formaldehyde could cause nasal cancer in rats. This finding raised the question of whether formaldehyde exposure could also cause cancer in humans. In 1987, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) classified formaldehyde as a probable human carcinogen under conditions of unusually high or prolonged exposure (1). Since that time, some studies of humans have suggested that formaldehyde exposure is associated with certain types of cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies formaldehyde as a human carcinogen (2). In 2011, the National Toxicology Program, an inter-agency program of the Department of Health and Human Services, named formaldehyde as a known human carcinogen in its 12th Report on Carcinogens (3).”
Some vaccines such as the Measles Live Virus Vaccine (Attenuvax), which is produced by Merck, contain gelatin, sorbitol, sodium chloride, egg protein and bovine cow serum. The Measles and Mumps Live Virus Vaccine (M-M-Rvax), also manufactured by Merck, is injected into young babies and contains gelatin, sorbitol, sodium chloride, and bovine cow serum. The Diptheria, Tetanus, and Polio Vaccines, which we know as ‘boosters’ are vaccines that contain phenoxyethanol, formaldehyde and aluminum phosphate. Many vaccines are even mixed with baby chicken protein and Vero Cells (Monkey Kidneys). Remember, you are injecting these into your body with the expectation of authority with vested interest or ignorance having any real concern for the ramifications!
Many vaccines, simply because of the initial shock of the foreign substances entering your body, result in inflammation, and the substances cause your immune system to go into overdrive far beyond what the standard argument is for introducing a live or dead virus. There are other hazardous injections that are not even vaccines. If you take a look, for example, at the Vitamin K shot given to children in the hospital after birth, the insert actually issues a warning of possible cardiac arrest after administration. The warning for Intravenous uses of the Merck AquaMephyton Vitamin K shot states:
“Severe reactions, including fatalities, have occurred during and immediately after the parenteral administration of AquaMephyton (Phytonadione). Typically these severe reactions have resembled hypersensitivity or anaphylaxis, including shock and cardiac and/or respiratory arrest.”
Monosodium Glutamate – Also added to most processed foods, this is an excitotoxin that can over stimulate to the point of permanent damage, or even kill, nerve cells. Some health officials have warned against consuming MSG through Chinese Food, but it is injected through vaccines into young children. It is known to cause headaches, sweating, facial pressure or tightness, chest pain, hear palpitations, numbing or tingling of the face or neck and nausea.
Mercury is another dangerous vaccine additive also known as thimerosal, legal in the U.S., but banned in Russia, Denmark, Austria, Great Britain, Japan and Scandinavia. It is a product derived from a combination of Ethylene Glycol (antifreeze), Ethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, and Ethyl Mercuric Chloride, all of which are neurotoxins and carcinogenic. They can also cause brain damage. One study from the University of British Colombia confirmed that thimerosal is toxic, especially to unborn fetuses. Mercury is also fat-soluble and goes right to the location in the body with the most fat, the brain, which is about 60%% fat. Despite guidelines on mercury additives, vaccine manufactures seem to not care seeing that they are immune to lawsuits.
The EPA did set safety limits for mercury at five MCGS (micrograms), although the standard flu vaccine contains 25 MCGS (micrograms), which is five times over the ‘official’ safety limit! Like I mentioned before, the increasing number of ‘recommended’ vaccines being forced on children further worsen conditions. The Department of Defense (DOD) even classifies mercury as a hazardous substance and yet it is still added to vaccines.
The DOD says mercury could cause death if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin, which makes me question why it’s dangerous enough to set up safely guidelines, but okay to inject it into an infant with a developing immune system. It’s also found in fluorescent light bulbs, batteries and dental fillings.
The National Library of Medicine – www.NLM.gov – says:
“Elemental mercury is usually harmless if touched or swallowed… Depending on how much mercury is inhaled, permanent lung damage and death may occur. You may also have some long-term brain damage from inhaled elemental mercury.”
If you can get brain damage or lung damage from simply inhaling it, image what happens again when you inject it into your bloodstream!
Supposedly mercury is added to kill contaminants in vaccines. Just like aluminum poisoning, mercury causes epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, seizures, hyperactivity, dyslexia, and damage to the Central Nervous System (CNS); infertility, or damage to an unborn baby, birth defects, dementia and autism.
Here again we have another link to eugenics and population control in that of infertility.
Autism has also been linked to reactions of milk or wheat during childhood according to researchers reported on in Dr. Nancy Appleton’s book Stopping Inflammation. She also writes about the effects of MMR vaccine and neurological disorders such as autism saying, “A primary effect of the MMR vaccination is the production of interferon gamma, which is known to alter intestinal cells and increase intestinal permeability, causing inflammation. Additionally, the blood-brain barrier becomes more permeable allowing lymphocytes to infiltrate the brain. This can result in serious mental effects such as learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and / or schizophrenia.”
What is most amazing to me is that pregnant women are told not to consume tuna fish during pregnancy because of its high mercury content, but then are injected with vaccines containing thousands of times higher amounts of mercury!
Journalist and food advocate Mike Adams says, “[T]he concentration of mercury found in this GSK flu shot was 100 times higher than the highest level of mercury we’ve ever tested in contaminated fish…And yet vaccines are injected directly into the body, making them many times more toxic than anything ingested orally.”
According to the EPA website:
“Exposure to methylmercury most commonly occurs when people eat kinds of fish and shellfish that have high levels of methylmercury in their tissues.” As for infants, the EPA reports, “Infants in the womb can be exposed to methylmercury when their mothers eat fish and shellfish that contain methylmercury. This exposure can adversely affect unborn infants’ growing brains and nervous systems. These systems may be more vulnerable to methylmercury than the brains and nervous systems of adults are.”
In general, the effects of methylmercury poisoning have been documented to include lack of coordination or movements, impairment of speech, hearing, walking, muscle weakness and loss of peripheral vision.
The EPA also reports, “Children exposed to methylmercury while they are in the womb can have impacts to their: cognitive thinking, memory, attention, language, fine motor skills”.
Also according to the EPA, “High exposure to inorganic mercury may result in damage to the gastrointestinal tract, the nervous system, and the kidneys. Both inorganic and organic mercury are absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract and affect other systems through this route. Symptoms of high exposures to inorganic mercury include: skin rashes and dermatitis, mood swings, memory loss, mental disturbances, muscle weakness”.
The latter are all statements from the Environmental Protection Agency on the effects of Mercury, particularly if it is inhaled as a vapor. Once again, we are talking about injecting it into a child whose immune system isn’t even fully developed. Some doctors will say the content of mercury (thimerosal) in a specific vaccine is below the safe limit allotted by the government, but they do not logically connect the multiple doses of vaccines and the overall ‘vaccine schedule’, dishing out dozens of shots in multiple doses to children. statement, ‘the mercury content is below the safe limit’ is rhetoric considering how the EPA did set safety limits for mercury at five MCGS (micrograms) and the standard flu vaccine contains 25 MCGS (micrograms) – five times over the ‘official’ safety limit!
These same levels of mercury are also found in CFL bulbs and High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), which is found in many beverages and foods, as we will come to later. In some studies mercury was found in more than 90% of all studied HFCS samples. Since HFCS and vaccines are so marketed towards children it is no wonder why autism rates increased steeply since the 1980s and over 200% alone from 2001-2009. Dr. Coldwell says that in relation to thimerosal (mercury),“This additive alone was the catalyst for another recent Class Action Lawsuit organized by mothers of children born with autism& the many related behavioral disorders associated with it. Autism is now occurring at levels never seen before in history; depending on the state, its rate is now 1 in 67 to 1 in 150… Mercury may also be associated with the significantly increased rates of senility and Alzheimer’s, which is associated with five or more successive flu vaccinations.”
To give you a perspective on increased Autism rates, they once were 1 in 20,000. Now they will be 1 in 2 by 2025. Announcements have been made that mercury would be removed from vaccines, but it is still in the flu vaccines or added under other names that are becoming more-and-more forced as mandatory components to keep people ‘healthy’. These mandatory enforcements are lobbied by Big-Vacc so that people legally must purchase their products. At the same time, they are exempt from any lawsuit resulting from their products. Instead, victims of vaccines have to apply for money from a ‘fund’, which is a form of payoff replenished by a tax on the vaccines.
Mercury has been banned in several countries such as Russia, Austria, Great Britain, Denmark, and Japan, but it is legal in the United States. Even though certain forms of mercury have been removed from some vaccines, so many then forget about aluminum.
Aluminum in vaccines, medication or food dyes can also cause several debilitating brain issues and mental impairments such as epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, seizures, rickets, decreased kidney and liver functions, speech problems, muscle aches, hyperactivity, dyslexia, damage to the Central Nervous System (CNS), damage to an unborn baby, birth defects, dementia and autism. Aluminum, like mercury, also causes infertility. Aluminum Phosphate in vaccines can cause the flow of blood to completely stop, which can cause a lack of blood flow and thus oxygen to the brain – hypotension (low blood pressure).
The US National Library of Medicine – National Institutes of Health report on their website:
“Aluminium is widely used as an adjuvant in human vaccines, and children can often receive up to 3.75 mg of parenteral aluminium during the first six months of life. We show that intraperitoneal injection of aluminium adsorbed vaccines into mice causes a transient rise in brain tissue aluminium levels peaking around the second and third day after injection.
This rise is not seen in the saline control group of animals or with vaccine not containing aluminium. It is likely that aluminium is transported to the brain by the iron-binding protein transferring and enters the brain via specific transferring receptors.”
Aluminum causes brain damage and is known to increase the body’s susceptibility to mercury. Vaccines for tetanus, polio, hepatitis B and haemophilus influenza type B, all of which are given to infants contain aluminum hydroxide formaldehyde and bovine growth serum. It is also well known that the HPV and Gardasil vaccines, administered to children as young as nine years of age for a rare sexually transmitted disease, contains sodium chloride, aluminum and polysorbate 80, which causes infertility in women. According to research from the American Association for Cancer Research in 2015 women receiving the Gardasil vaccine for protection against four strains of HPV “had a higher prevalence of nonvaccine high-risk types than unvaccinated women… After adjusting for the number of recent sexual partners, the difference in prevalence of high-risk nonvaccine types was reduced, but remained significant.” Furthermore, the background for this research began with the background conclusion that, “Although the HPV vaccine provides protection against genital warts and HPV-associated anogenital cancers among young girls, there is some concern about its effectiveness when administered to young adult women due to the risk of prior HPV infections before vaccination and potentially reduced immunogenicity when administered at older ages.”
Other research published by the US National Library of Medicine National Institute of Health admitted, “In spite of much unwarranted and premature optimism, the fact is however that HPV vaccines have not thus far prevented a single case of cervical cancer (let alone cervical cancer death).”
– IMPORTANT – Cancer & Treatments
Chemotherapy is left over chemicals from the 1st & 2nd World Wars. After the wars, the chemicals left were just sitting there so it was sold as a cure/medicine, just as fluoride was sold to the Dental industry by the nuclear and aluminum industries, as a tooth strengthener when it actually causes dental fluorosis (pitting and decaying).
The Cancer Act of 1939 was established to prevent people from writing or even speaking of the fact that it is possible to cure/treat cancer using alternative methods. Families such as the Rockefellers that set up the World Health Organization, American Cancer Society, and American Medical Association, have had a monopoly on these ‘treatments’ for decades.
In the 1930s one cure was made from petroleum, which of course a major industry run by the Rockefellers. Therefore any cure that was not based on oil would be criticized as a hoax and ridiculed just as alternative cures are today by the very same organizations. Rockefeller created salesmen for these products and we call them doctors today. The Rockefellers gave money to Universities and medical schools, giving them the ability to influence and control the curriculum that doctors where taught – eliminating nutrition classes. The Rockefellers, through the Carnegie Foundation, also employed a man named Abraham Flexner to visit medical schools and report on their curriculum and their ability to teach. Abraham’s brother Simon directed the ‘research’ into the causes and preventions of certain diseases for the Rockefellers.
Abraham published the Flexner Report in 1910 that demanded medical schools in America impose higher admission and graduation standards and only teach mainstream science. With a heavy financial interest in medicine and chemicals, the Rockefellers and Carnegie had huge interests in making sure medical curriculum never taught about cheap, safe, alternatives to Big-Medicine and thus the modern medical establishment was formed with chemicals as ‘cures’. In the 1900s the Rockefellers set up the Institute for Medical Research and laid the foundation for health research. They selectively chose doctors and scientists to focus on chemical methods that were carried over into schools, many of which received initial funding from the Rockefeller Foundation!
A few key points important to recognize about cancer:
1. Cancer ‘cures’, like radiation or chemotherapy, even surgery, which causes inflammation and trauma to the body, are all major stressors on an already broken down immune system. Using these methods to kill both healthy and unhealthy cells is ignorance and like burning down a farm to get rid of a few weeds.
2. Modern medicine has a 2-3% cancer ‘cure’ rate, which is not a ‘cure’ rate, but a 98-97% failure rate! Those cancers that go into remission by themselves are also included in these 2-3% and assumed to be caused by modern medicine. You have a better chance of surviving cancer by refusing mainstream treatment. Add in the following information and your chances greatly increase.
3. Cancer is in everyone’s body to an extent – it is a fungus and is generally harmless until your immune system, digestive system, etc., are not performing at optimal capacity due to trauma to the body, lack of nutrients, vitamin, and minerals, and especially from an acidic environment caused by diet and lifestyle, plus environmental factors, that overwhelm your body’s natural defenses.
4. Tumors are there to essentially act as a last line of defense against toxins spreading thought your body – DO NOT get a biopsy as this only punctures the tumor and spills these toxins into the body resulting in a ‘fast acting’ or ‘aggressive’ cancer!
5. You body must output the toxins you intake or they can build up in the body. Acids and toxins can be stored in fat cells – women’s breasts are fatty tissue. When we don’t output the same number of toxins we put inside of us, the body becomes acidic. This imbalance prevents oxygen from being delivered to cells and they begin to die.
6. The 1931 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology, Dr. Otto Warburg, discovered that cancer was caused by weakened cell respiration due to a lack of oxygen in cells. He wrote, “…every single person who has cancer has a pH that is too acidic.” Any acidic environment in the body eliminates the ability of your DNA and RNA to monitor and control cellular divisions, which allows cancer cells to multiply unchecked.
Key points for possible ‘cures’:
1. State of Mind – You must know that you will (have) already beaten the cancer – mental states can change our body chemistry – it is important to surround yourself by support and love. Stress is a major player in all diseases. It runs down the body and its defense systems making us ill regardless of our diet. The same is true for severe lack of sleep.
2. Diet & Lifestyle – If you truly want to defeat cancer or any illness, not only must you know you have already beaten it but you must address the root source of why you are sick. This could be as complex as a toxic relationship, family, friends, etc., or a combination of that and almost always a result of our modern lifestyles and diet. Sugar feeds cancer because sugar throws the body out of balance and acidifies the body. It’s not just candy and junk food; for anyone trying to get rid of cancer, this includes natural sugars in fruits at first too!
– 80% fresh vegetables and juice (watch the sugar though in the first weeks and months), whole grains, seeds, nuts, help alkaline your body. Leafy greens are filled with these properties and help provide oxygen to your cells. BUT you should’t eat a salad smothered in dressing and sweet fruits!
-Another treatment available in Mexico is the Gerson Therapy. Dr. Max Gerson was able to prove that cancer stops growing within 14 days once a patient starts a raw organic food diet.
- NO coffee or chocolate, especially processed sugar laced chocolate. RAW Coca powder is high in Vitamin C and magnesium, and makes a nice hot chocolate when stirred in with some hot water.
- NO milk or any foods or drinks that produce mucus.
- Intakes of Vitamin D & Vitamin C – but read ingredient lists and that you aren’t putting synthetic vitamins or trash additives into your body.
No matter the cost of all of these possible treatments, they are still hundreds of thousands of dollars cheaper than conventional treatments. So keep this in mind.
3. Black Strap Molasses (Maple Syrup) and Baking Soda
One Teaspoon of each two to three times a day. Organic Black Strap Molasses and FOOD GRADE Baking Soda. (Not Arm and Hammer or others that may have aluminum in it which goes directly to the brain.)
Eight ounces of water, warm up on stove (warm not hot – DO NOT use distilled water, it is acidic, but instead use filtered purified water). Stir in Molasses and Baking Soda, stir gently until well dissolved. You may allow to cool or drink right away. The taste is likely something you will have to get use too, but remember those mainstream cures…
The sugar acts as a trap for the cancer that feeds on it, while the baking soda (highly alkaline) kills the cancer cells.
Dr. Coldwell says, “Most people need at least a gallon of water a day with a half a teaspoon of sea salt in it,” as dehydration is another factor in illnesses. He recommends not using table salt, though, as it contains either sand or glass that cuts your arteries leading to (hypertension) high blood pressure. Common table salt (sodium chloride) is not the same as rock or sea salt. This table salt is what leads to hypertension. You can also use Himalayan pink salt, which gets its color from elements and trace minerals such as its iron content. Putting salt in your water helps your cells to absorb oxygen.
4. Vitamin B 17
Dr. Ernest T. Krebs isolated the vitamin B17 in the 1950s and referred to it as Laetrile. Of course the pharmaceutical industry launched an attack on him… essentially shunning and shutting him down. Laetrile treatment is banned in the United States, but is available in Mexico. Laetrile can be found in RAW APRICOT SEEDS.The cyanide in these seeds is poison, but in small doses it a natural fighter of cancer. DO NOT let health food storestell you it is illegal or harmful and scare you. Whole Foods usually does not sell them since they don’t likefighting with the FDA, but local coops usually do, or you can get a huge bag online relatively cheap – i have a friendwho did this and cured himself of cancer twice. Take a handful, about 5-10 and work your way up to 21 a day. Thisgreatly varies, and it depends on what other ‘treatments’ you are trying, but a handful a day shouldn’t hurt.
5. Oxygen Therapy
– Page 181 of Dr. Coldwell’s Book – In an 8oz glass of purified water without chlorine add three drops of 35% hydrogen peroxide and drink. On the following day add one more drop, so four drops of the food grad hydrogen peroxide in an 8oz glass of water taken three times per day. The following day add another drop, then the next day another drop, until you’ve complete three weeks (21) days of treatment with a total of 23 drops of the hydrogen peroxide in 8oz of distilled water three times per day.
CAUTION: Research this carefully and do not use the alcohol, peroxide from the drug store.
6. The Sun
Sunscreen can lead to cancer, too, because it doesn’t allow the body to get enough ultraviolet light and Dr. C has thus used sunlight to cure/treat patients, as it ‘provides vitamin D and raises serotonin levels in the brain’. This is why sunlight can relieve symptoms of depression, the common cold and the flu.Another cancer researcher, Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp, also found that carcinogens of any type actually scrambles this UV light. This ultraviolet light is stored in your DNA and helps send messages to cells about reproduction! Cells that don’t receive these instructions may replicate out of control.
In his book The Only Answer to Cancer Dr. Coldwell says, “What I’ve discovered, through the years, is that cancer is the easiest condition to cure! In fact, there are over 300 proven ways to cure cancer naturally.”
He lists treatments such as:
Turmeric, Oxygen therapy, Vitamin D or Sunlight, Vitamin C or Aloe Vera Injections, Vitamin B17, Baking Soda and Maple Syrup, Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli Sprouts, Garlic, Green Tea, Spinach, Hemp, Hydrosol Silver, Echinacea, Folic Acid, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Eggplant (BEC-5), Raw Food Diet, 35% Hydrogen Peroxide

Blue # 1
Also known as ‘Brilliant Blue FCF, FD&C Blue 1 is banned in Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Greece, but is considered safe in European Union and the United States. It has been shown to cause skin irritation in humans and liver and Kidney tumors in mice. DNA damage has also been reported in rats just as GMOs have been shown to alter the human DNA structure.
Blue # 2
FD&C Blue 2, or Indigotine, has been shown to cause hyperactivity in children. It has also been shown to cause brain cancer in rats, abnormal cell development and Gliomas tumors, those of the brain or spine.
Red # 2
Also known as Amaranth, Red # 2 is toxic to rodents and causes tumors of the bladder. It is also carcinogenic and illegal in US, although it is legal in the EU. The opposite is true for red 40, the predecessor to Red # 2, which is legal in the U.S., but illegal in the European Union.
Red # 3
Known as Erythrosine, Red # 3 has been shown to cause cancer in rats. A 1983 FDA also showed that Red 3 caused thyroid tumors in rats. It has been banned in most cosmetics, but it is still found in baked goods, cherries and even ink printing cartridges.
Red # 40
Red # 40 is the most common food dye used in the U.S. As the predecessor to Red 2, ‘Allura Red’ or Red # 40 debilitates the immune systems and the DNA of mice. It can also cause hypersensitivity and cancer in humans.
Green # 3
FD&C Green 3 is known by many names such as ‘Green 1724’, ‘Food Green 3’ and ‘Solid Green FCF’. It has been documented to cause bladder and testes tumors in mice and irritation of the eyes, skin and digestive systems in humans. It is even used in vegetables and is prohibited in the European Union
Yellow # 5
Known by the names ‘e102’ and ‘Tartrazine’, FD&C Yellow 5 causes hypersensitivity, hyperactivity and loss of concentration. It also can cause migraines, anxiety and fatigue. I have even seen it used in vegetables for color.
Yellow # 6
FD&C Yellow 6, ‘Sunset Yellow FCF’, or ‘ci13985’, can cause adrenal tumors in animals and migraines, and also hyperactivity in humans, especially children.

‘100% Organic’ products contain only certified organic ingredients.
Simply ‘Organic’ products contain only 95% certified organic ingredients.
Products that read ‘Made with Organic Ingredients’ only contain only 70% certified organic ingredients. Other companies may simply label with an (*) any ingredient in the product that is organic.
According to the www.Nongmoproject.org other common ingredients derived from GMO risk crops include:
“Amino Acids, Aspartame, Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Ascorbate, Vitamin C, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Ethanol, Flavorings (“natural” and “artificial”), High-Fructose Corn Syrup, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Lactic Acid, Maltodextrins, Molasses, Monosodium Glutamate, Sucrose, Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP), Xanthan Gum, Vitamins, Yeast Products.”
Some other Popular labels companies use to describe ingredients are:
Spices: Unless the ‘spices’ are specified, there is a good chance you are eating MSG or other chemicals that create a chemical addiction in the brain making you want more of the food. If glutamate levels rise in the body, neurons begin to fire out of order and brain cells begin to die, which is why Aspartame is so dangerous as a neurological toxin. “High blood levels of MSG can cross the normally protective blood-brain barrier. Glutamate is a neurotransmitter that is present in the extracellular fluid in very low concentrations,” writes Dr. Nancy Appleton in her book Stopping Inflammation. She adds how “processed foods contain excitotoxins, especially any type of commercial taste or flavor enhancer, such as hydrolyzed vegetable protein, soy protein extract, and yeast extract.” Nancy exposes how excitotoxins like MSG don’t always have to be labeled as MSG or Autolyzed Yeast Extract, but can “be labeled as ‘natural’ flavorings.”
Monosodium Glutamate also comes under various other names and should be avoided. These include Glutamic acid (E 620), Glutamate (E 620), Monosodium glutamate (E 621), Monopotassium glutamate (E 622), Calcium glutamate (E 623), Monoammonium glutamate (E 624), and Magnesium glutamate (E 625). Anything labeled “yeast extract” or “hydrolyzed protein,” can contain MSG, while non-processed versions come in the form of “carrageenan (E 407)” and any type of Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Citrate (E 330), or Pectin. If MSG is not specified in any of the latter forms, there are other types of ingredients specifically relating to MSG, including Disodium 5’-guanylate (E 627), Disodium 5’-inosinate (E-631), and Disodium 5′-ribonucleotides (E 635).
Natural Flavors, Artificial Flavors, Vegan Flavor, Vegetarian Flavor: These are all ‘cover’ terms for ingredients such as aspartame and chemicals that otherwise would not look appetizing on a label. They are exactly what they claim, artificial, and are in no way ‘natural’ in the way the company hopes you assume. As the comedian George Carlin once said, “The word ‘natural’ is completely meaningless! Everything is natural! Nature includes everything! It’s not just trees and flowers! It’s everything! A chemical company’s toxic waste is completely natural! It’s part of the nature! We’re all part of nature! Everything is natural! Dog shit is natural! It’s just not real good food!” I recommend always staying away from these ingredients whenever possible.
‘Natural flavor’ products like ‘fat free’ labels also contain processed sugars, which are creating an epidemic of obesity. The words are used as freely as companies like because the FDA doesn’t even have a definition for ‘natural’. As a previous example I have written how Labels that read ‘Bob’s Organic Chips’ does not mean they are organic. The ‘organic’ name on the package is not regulated, only the actual product within the packaging. Even then, GMO food sneaks into almost all organic foods, including the ‘NATURAL FLAVOR’ label that uses the word ‘natural’ improperly and manipulatively to trick an ignorant consumer into believing what they are eating is ‘natural’, i.e. ‘organic’, or ‘from the earth’, so it must be good for you when it’s not. Even if a products is ‘organic’ does not mean it will be completely void of ingredients that are not organic.
Certain chemicals and toxins are derived ‘naturally’ from the earth, but are they good for your diet? Some companies use the term properly, but there is a difference between ‘natural lemon flavor’ and ‘organically grown lemons’ that were used to make lemon juice. Furthermore, the deceptive labels that read ‘Natural’ chips are not actually ‘natural’ in the sense that the company hopes the consumer assumes, one perpetuated by a scam that has become ‘organic’ products, but instead refers to ‘natural’ as only a word that is associated with organic, but isn’t actually such. Organic products are far better than non-organic products, but even then, companies use organically grown food mixed with synthetic lab-made food and then label it as ‘organic’ or ‘natural’ when it’s not. They are only referring to the organic portion as to the organic label and the rest is then labeled ‘natural’ because there are no regulations on such a word on the box or ingredient list by any regulatory agency. There is a giant scam perpetuated by mega-corporations using the ‘organic’ label, but fresh produce is not a scam. If you want to save money on fruits or vegetables then shop around a few stores if you are able.
Ingredients such as ‘natural lemon flavor[s]’, ‘lemon flavor[s]’ or ‘natural lemon’ are likely synthetic. If you use real lemons the label should read, ‘lemons’ or ‘organic lemons’ and there would be no need to write ‘flavor’ because lemons have a flavor already, you don’t need to add one! Another common ingredient flooding almost all products at all stores is citric acid. But it comes from citrus, right?
Citric Acid & Ascorbic Acid: These two ingredients are usually listed with a parenthesis that will claim (Vitamin C). But, why not just say ‘Vitamin C’? The reason is because these acids are usually artificial. Dr. Leonard Coldwell says on his website that these “ingredients don’t come from where you might assume (i.e. simply, citrus fruits). Instead, mass produced citric acid and ascorbic acid are hidden GMO ingredients that reportedly set off allergenic responses for some sensitive consumers. Further, both are known accomplices to the creation of benzene – a known human carcinogen – inside food and drink products alongside sodium benzoate.”
Citric Acid and MSG are two ingredients that ‘enhance’ flavor and create a chemical addiction, which is why these acids specifically are in almost every food item you buy with parenthesis that claim citric acid is an: (antioxidant), (preservative), (citrus), (‘natural’ acid), etc. Typically it is just Aspergillus niger, a fungus. Citric Acid does occur naturally in fruits like limes or pineapples, but the one in most food products is artificial and does not come from fruit. It is manufactured using a mold that feeds on corn syrup glucose and of course most corn is GM. Vitamins E (tocopherol), also used as a preservative, is usually made with soy and is therefore likely to be GMO too.
Dr. C says, “…it [citric acid] is most likely derived from genetically modified black mold grown on GMO corn syrup.”
“Citric acid does in fact occur naturally in citrus fruits like lemons, oranges, grapefruits in significant quantities… in fact, as a product of the Kreb’s Cycle, it is present in most living things. But industry would find it simply too costly and… well, simple to derive their preservative ingredient that way.
Actually, a cornered citrus market was already making this form of citric acid too expensive by the mid-to-late 19th century, making an alternative economically desirable even then.
Instead, since the early 1900s, the black mold Aspergillus niger has been used to ferment starches to derive citric acid. In 1893, a chemist named C. Wehmer discovered that citric acid could be produced with penicillium mold and sugar.”
Some other ingredients such as vegetable oils are made from soy, canola, cottonseed, or corn, and are therefore at ‘high-risk’ of being GM. Canola oil is used in so many products, including nuts, and was originally derived from rapeseed, which is toxic to humans. Geneticists simply force mutated the rapeseed through radiation. According to Jeffrey Smith, Cornell University claims only around 3-5% percent of sweet corn in the U.S. is GM and that it is unlikely that popcorn is engineered at all, but I say beware.
Since corn and soy are so widely used, they wind up in vegetable oil, infant formula, processed foods, fried foods, veggie burgers, meat substitutes, powdered sugar, pasta, enriched flour, tamari, yogurt, tofu, alcohol, vanilla, peanut butter, and other items such as soaps, detergents, shampoo and cosmetics.
Since most cattle are fed with corn a problem then results in several preventable diseases like ‘mad cow disease’ since dead cattle are ground up, including their brains, and fed to living cattle along with GM feed that causes abnormal bacterial growths in their stomachs. Michael Pollan further shows in his book The Omnivore’s Dilemma, how “corn-fed beef contains more saturated fat than the meat of grass fed animals. Too much saturated fat has been linked to heart disease and other health problems…Grass-fed beef generally has lower amounts of ‘bad’ fats and higher ‘good’ fats. Just as it is not healthy for cattle to eat corn, it is not healthy for us [humans] to eat corn-fed cattle.” He also relates how, “Corn-based food does offer cheap calories, if you don’t count the billions the government spends to support cheap corn. For people with low incomes, this might seem like a good thing. In the long run, however, these cheap calories come with a high price tag: obesity, Type II diabetes, heart disease.”
Since cows are fed so much GM corn it thus contaminates all dairy products, not to mention the GM rBGH (Bovine Growth Hormone) manufactured by Monsanto and injected into cows to supposedly increase milk production. Jeffrey Smith writes, “Organic meat and eggs come from animals that have been raised without hormones and with feed that is non-GMO. So-called ‘natural’ meat is usually free of hormones and antibiotics, but the animal may have been raised on GM feed. If you want to avoid this, you’ll need to ask the producer.” Dairy products of concern include eggs, milk, cheese, yogurt, and any other product using these ingredients in any form.
Some tobacco has even been engineered to produce less nicotine and is thus GMO along with honey, which can be collected from pollen off of GM corn or canola fields. According to some researchers and Dr. Coldwell’s website, you should always buy local honey that has been unfiltered because “more than 75 percent of honey sold in U.S. grocery stores isn’t actually the same thing honey bees produce.”
Some enzymes such as alpha-acetolactate decarboxylase, a GM bacterium, are used to remove bitter tastes from beer. Other beers are laced with fish bladder, MSG, Propylene Glycol, Natural Flavors, GMO Corn Syrup, Caramel Coloring, Insect-BasedDyes, and more. If you drink beer, which I never do, you should be aware of some of the brads to avoid and some to possibly look to support.
A few beers to stop buying or drinking, even if someone buys it for you, are Newcastle Brown Ale, Budweiser, Corona Extra, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Guinness, Coors Light and Pabst Blue Ribbon. Some beers to look for are Shipyard, Sierra Nevada, Royal Oak, Dog Head, and Bridgeport among others. Often these are organic, but even if they are not it’s a much ‘healthier’ choice.

In May of 2015 after Kraft made their announcement about removing dyes from their products, the ‘fast food’ restaurant Panera Bread announced they would remove at least “150 artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors, and preservatives from its menu,” which makes me wonder why they were used to make the food anyway considering the removal supposedly prompted no change in the taste of the food. Panera announced they would remove propylene glycol (neurotoxin), Acesulfame K. (carcinogenic artificial sweetener), Ethoxyquin (used in dog food), Artificial Smoke Flavor (carcinogenic smoke), Titanium Dioxide (carcinogen that causes inflammation, used in sunscreens), Saccharin (carcinogenic aspartame), Azodicarbonamide (yoga mat plastic), Aspartame (artificial sweetener), BHT (carcinogen and flame retardant), and most artificial FD&C colorings, along with a list of what they call ‘The No No List.” Saccharin (Sweet’N Low) is a known carcinogen, but in typical fashion an article from Yahoo Health is claiming it could be used to cure cancer not cause it!
Dunkin’ Donuts also announced in early 2015 that due to consumer complaints, they would remove Titanium Dioxide from the powdered sugar used on donuts. It’s used as a whitening agent in powdered sugars, dietary supplement pills and cosmetics. Another ingredient added to vitamins is Magnesium Stearate. This also suppresses the immune system and creates Bioflim, which actually blocks the body from absorbing nutrients – so watch out for these ingredients if you are taking supplements!
According to the New York Associated Press, PepsiCo also announced in early 2015 that they are dropping aspartame from Diet Pepsi because of ‘customer concerns’, but then say they would replace it with Sucralose, another artificial sweetener similar to aspartame! Sucralose is made using chlorine and is six hundred times sweeter than sugar. When used with carbonation in soft drinks, a ‘covalent’ bond is formed creating a deadly organochlorine.
In January of the same year, Coke and Pepsi further stated they would shrink the size of their cans in order to help customers reduce their soda intake, but of course they then announced a higher charge for less soda to ‘help you’.
A month later, Subway, which uses Azodicarbonamide (yoga mat plastic) in their breads, announce they want to stick with their slogan ‘eat fresh’. These azodicarbonamide ‘plastics’ are banned as filler in Australia, Europe, and Singapore, but are legal in the U.S. where they are used in the McDonald’s McRib sandwich, which is comprised of over 70 different chemicals, along with GMOs and artificial flavorings, filings and colors. The MrRib is made of pork that is literally compressed into the shape of a rib by a jello-type-mold.
Another ingredient in some overly processed bread is called L-cysteine, sourced from… human hair swept up off the floors of Chinese hair salons. I’ll have a slice. Several breads or bagels also contain Potassium Bromate, which can cause kidney or nervous system damage, thyroid problems and cancer. It is banned in China, Canada and the European Union. Many baked goods also contain Hydrogenated Oils, also found in many processed ‘junk’ foods. They should be avoided as they lead to heart complications, stroke, and nervous system disorders, and they also block the absorbing of fatty acids while wreaking havoc on your blood sugar levels, perhaps leading to Diabetes.
For some background, the process of ‘hydrogenation’ includes adding hydrogen atoms with heat to vegetable and seed oils to produce a rancid thickening preservative with no nutritional value whatsoever.
Subway also announced the removal of Yellow 5 from their banana peppers, which they say will be replaced with turmeric for color. My question is why not just use turmeric from the beginning? Subway then started running ads on their ‘eat fresh’ slogan with their poster sexual-predator-spokesman Jared. He claims he lost all of this weight in the commercial by eating Subway and “walking a lot.” So how did he gain the weight to begin with? He says that he ate “too much junk food”, which is interesting because the portrayal in the commercial was that he ate too much fast food. The reason they said ‘junk food’ and not ‘fast food’ was because Subway is ‘fast food’! This is similar to how Dairy Queen now says their food is “fan food, not fast food.” It’s not ‘fan food’ unless you’re a fan of obesity and life threatening, chronic diseases. The chief marketing officer for Subway, Tony Pace, also noted that the chain is searching for low-fat options, but remember that this means more sugar will be added to make up for the flavor variations.
“We know people want to feel good about the foods they eat, and they’re seeking foods made with fewer artificial ingredients and less sodium,” John Carmichael, President of the Nestlé Pizza & Snacking Division, said in a press release. So did they not give a shit if people felt good about the foods they ate before? Subway’s sales have declined nearly 3% in the past year and when the bottom line suffers the company makes changes, especially to their image. This is why it is vitally important to understand everything we have discussed and understand that it is your decision about what to purchase and what company to support. Voting in an election, minus local ones, is not going to grant you power. Your power is in your voice and wallet.
Some of you might be thinking that ‘I’m going to die some day anyway so why not eat the food I love’. Well, here are some reasons why you should avoid this garbage. You should have respect for yourself and your body. If you want to kill yourself then do it, but don’t kill your children by feeding them this trash that isn’t even real food. Remember that allowing companies to patent foods and genes is allowing for a future world where you will be born a numbered slave owned by someone else. Stop delegating authority to others and take personal responsibility. Take the time to think what the world might be if chronic illnesses, fatigue, and low IQs were not ‘normalized’. You can save money in medical bills now and in the future. You will feel better mentally, physically and emotionally, but only after you detox and are true to yourself with what you purchase and eat. Just because someone isn’t looking doesn’t mean you should down a bucket of fried, cloned chicken or drink dyed sugar water.
In the previous year, General Mills counted a combined loss over $4,000,000,000 as of early 2015. Campbell Soup Co. CEO said that, “We understand that increasing numbers of consumers are seeking authentic, genuine food experiences…and we know that they are skeptical of the ability of large, long-established food companies to deliver them.”
So what exactly is an ‘authentic genuine food experience’? Was there food not “authentic” before people began demanding different foods? Dairy Queen’s website, for example, even says, “Technically, our soft serve does not qualify to be called ice cream.” It’s not ‘real’ and it’s not ‘fan food’ either unless you are a fan of degenerative disease. It is, however, a real problem, as companies are scrambling to re-label themselves.
Starbucks took an approach other establishments have and after a decade announced the PUMPKIN Spice Latte will actually contain… REAL PUMPKIN. What a surprise this might come to consumers who are bombarded with images of pumpkins and fresh ground spices. Little did they know, even though so many like myself have warned for years, they were only drinking sugar, GMO milk, and artificial flavors, and colors, along with a bit of cochineal. Don’t worry, though, cochineal is only a tiny white insect. Some then complained the real pumpkin didn’t add enough spice, which makes me shake my head again in disgust. Look, you either want the real stuff, which doesn’t taste like a sugar cube or you want the chemicals. Choose and don’t complain when you get sick! Whoever is complaining about this trash has no real sense of what whole food tastes like.
Companies like Kraft that control a major portion of the food market have to also label their ‘cheeses’ with the phrase “pasteurized prepared cheese product” due to the fact thee FDA guidelines state ‘cheese’ be made with at least 51% cheese! So what else is in that slice?!?
Then the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics gave Kraft ‘cheese’ approval to label the ‘product’ as a ‘health food’. This is the same Academy that has direct ties to Kraft, as exposed in a 2013 study on corporate sponsorship by food industry lawyer Michele Simon, which stated there are “strong and ever-growing financial ties between the Academy and big food companies, including Kraft.” On a side note, in order to prevent their shredded cheeses from sticking together, saw dust is used in the packaging of the products. Other companies also utilize this ingredient to prevent their products from sticking together.
The pizza restaurant Dominos Pizza announced a name change in 2015 where they will now be referred to only as Dominos. Commercials claim it is because they now offer more products. Maybe they do, but maybe it’s an initiative to change their image seeing that most of the ingredients are GM and loaded with chemicals. Therefore it probably isn’t real pizza either, or at least the ingredients aren’t real. I mean do you really think PaPa John is cutting up fresh vegetables from is garden when you order a pie?
In May of 2015, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut announced they would also remove artificial colors and flavors from their food. They actually announced that instead of using “black pepper flavor,” they would use real black pepper, which again presents the question; why the fuck were you not using black pepper before and what the fuck was ‘black pepper flavor’? Taco Bell also says they will remove Yellow 6 from their nacho cheese, Blue 1 from their avocado ranch dressing and a bright pigment referred to as carmine will be removed from their red chips. Carmine, just so you know, is extracted from insects like cochineal. But, hey, it’s technically ‘natural’.
Both companies, including KFC, are owned by Yum Brand Inc., whose CEO, Greg Creed, attributed the changes in public atmosphere to people’s desire for “real food.” So was the food not real before; what have we been eating?!?
Taco Bell further announced the removal of HFCS and Palm Oil, both of which are GMO. In response to the changes, a spokesman for Taco Bell said, “It will be the same great tasting Taco Bell that people love.” Well, if it is the same, then why were the artificial ingredients added to begin with? This entire set of announcements comes a year after Taco Bell announced the removal of Maltodextrin (GMO), Torula Yeast, Modified Corn Starch (GMO), Soy Lecithin (GMO), Sodium Phosphates, Lactic Acid (GMO), Caramel Color and Trehalose. In response to the removal of Modified Corn Starch, Taco Bell said,” Actually, it’s derived from corn, which is a food staple in Mexican culture as well as many others. We use a small amount as a thickener and to maintain moisture in our seasoned beef. It’s common in many foods like yogurt.” So let me once again ask, what the fuck does corn being a food staple in Mexican culture have to do with why it’s being removed?!? This type of comment is a public relations deflection attempt to get people to turn their attention away from why the ingredient was added to begin with, or what it even was!
As mentioned in a previous chapter, according to a study by the US National Library of Medicine – National Institutes of Health, “water content by weight” in the hamburger brands evaluated “ranged from 37.7% to 63.4% (mean, 49%). Meat content in the hamburgers ranged from 2.1% to 14.8% (median, 12.1%).” It was discovered that meat content in the evaluated hamburgers ranged on average only 12.1%. How can it be real food when after allowing a Taco Bell or McDonalds meal to set out after more than a year you still have a ‘fresh’ looking product.
Towards the end of 2012, into early 2013, an investigation revealed how Burger King was selling, specifically to UK customers, burgers and whoppers that contained horsemeat. The revelation came directly after Burger King representatives offered “absolute assurance” that they did not and have never used horsemeat. Yet amidst the lies and further reaching implications, people line up every day at Burger King and other fast food restaurants to consume what they call food. They do this amidst the deception. Burger King admitted they had lied and that the ‘meat’, if we can call it that, was indeed contaminated with horse. I personally don’t care if there is horsemeat because my bigger issue is that the company openly lied to the consumer and then expected to gain full trust from that same consumer after admitting they deceived them. I’d feel the same if I was told the meat was cow only to find out it was bison or duck. What’s worse is that most people still line up at Burger King to buy the horsemeat. Apparently Burger King has some menu changes, too, as they might unveil new meals like the ‘Clydesdale combo’ and the family pack of three burgers called the ‘triple crown’. I’ve heard of ‘having it your way’, but how many of you wanted horse? Just imagine what else is hidden under ‘absolute assurances’.
McDonalds has the McNugget, which is composed of seven separate ingredients that aren’t even chicken. These include dextrose, sodium phosphate and autolyzed yeast extract (MSG). The nuggets also contain strange hair-like fibers and dimethylopolysiloxane, a type of silicon that is banned in Britain. This is the chemical used in silicone breast implants and silly putty. But it’s being removed as breast implant filler because of safety concerns! However, it is legal in the U.S. and is available on the dollar menu at McDonalds. So ladies, or gents, if you are looking in to upgrading your cup size you could just buy a 12-piece combo. You’ll have a huge bust with the combination of the hormones and silicone.
Most of the beef and chicken products on the menu at McDonalds also use pink slime, a type of ‘scrap meat’, which is covered with ammonium hydroxide. Several other products containing chicken in the U.S., and not just at McDonalds, have also been found to contain arsenic, including Tyson chicken. Arsenic causes anemia, headaches, skin lesions, kidney failure, lower IQ and high risks of infant mortality. Arsenic-laced feeding drugs such as Roxarsone, produced by Pfizer, is banned in the European Union. Pfizer then announced in 2011 they would stop marketing the drug, although there are several others on the market.
Most of the meat you buy at the store is also ‘preserved’ with a carcinogen called sodium nitrates, which produces Nitrosamine compounds that then enter the bloodstream to attack the liver and pancreas. But, hey, it keeps the meat red instead of brown when it is rotting! As a child it’s vivid in my memories those beautiful red meats under plastic that, once you turned the over after purchase, were grey or brown.
I even spoke to an ex-manager of KFC once and he told me their orders when finding expired, spoiled, rancid meat was to, in his store, soak it in bleach and find a way to cook it anyway!
What might be more absurd is that government regulatory bodies also allow TBHQ to be sprayed on the packaging and nuggets themselves at fast food restaurants. Tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) is butane; it’s literally lighter fluid! So once you upgrade your breast size you could just throw down a 12 piece from McDonald’s on the grill instead of coals.
The Hershey chocolate company announced the removal of artificial flavors and colors along with vanillin, a neurotoxin that kills brain cells. Vanillin tricks the brain into thinking it tastes real vanilla. Now Hershey’s will replace vanillin with ‘natural flavor’ that will be made from real vanilla. The AP reported that “The candy company” would make their Kisses and bars “with flavor from real vanilla instead of an artificial flavor.” Then in the same article, the writer informs us, “Customers will see ‘natural flavor’ on the ingredients list instead of vanillin, the artificial ingredient…” So they are removing artificial flavor and replacing it with natural-artificial flavor?!? If this is confusing, it’s supposed to be!
Towards the end of 2015, General Mills announced the removal of artificial dyes, but replaced them with beet juice and turmeric. The beet juice is likely coming from GM beets, however. Companies like Kellogg’s are changing their attitudes because of their financial problems relating to back-to-back quarters of huge losses. It is the ‘bottom-line’ that gets the attention of mega-corporations, and this can bee seen in how Kellogg’s announced a time-frame of 2018 to remove artificial colors and flavors; three years from now! Kellogg’s also says they need until 2025 to utilize cage-free eggs!
Other food additives Brad Olsen writes about in his wonderfully informative book, Modern Esoteric, are as follows:
“Sodium Sulfite (E221) and Sodium Chloride: Sodium Sulfite is a preservative used in wine-making and other processed foods. According to the FDA, approximately one in 100 people is sensitive to sulfites in food. The majority of these individuals are asthmatic, suggesting a link between asthma and sulfites. Individuals who are sulfite sensitive may experience headaches, breathing problems, and rashes. In severe cases, sulfites can actually cause death by closing down the airway altogether, leading to cardiac arrest. Sodium Sulfite is found in wine and dried fruit…They’re right, but only because it’s not real salt. Common table salt (sodium chloride) has almost nothing in common with traditional rock or sea salt.”
“Sodium Nitrate (sodium nitrite): Sodium nitrate is used as a preservative, coloring and flavoring in bacon, ham, hot dogs, luncheon meats, corned beef, smoked fish and other processed meats. This ingredient, which sounds harmless, is actually highly carcinogenic once it enters the human digestive system. There it forms a variety of nitrosamine compounds that enter the bloodstream and wreak havoc with a number of internal organs: the liver and pancreas in particular. Sodium nitrite is widely regarded as a toxic ingredient and the USDA actually tried to ban this additive in the 1970s but was vetoed by food manufacturers who complained they had no alternative for preserving packaged meat products. Why does the industry still use it? Simple: this chemical just happens to turn meats bright red. It’s actually a color fixer, and it makes old, dead meats appear fresh and vibrant. It is found in hotdogs, bacon, ham, luncheon meat, cured meats, corned beef, smoked fish or any other type of processed meat.”
“Sulfur Dioxide (E220): Sulfur additives are toxic. In the United States, the FDA has prohibited their use on raw fruit and vegetables. Adverse reactions include bronchial problems, particularly in those prone to asthma, hypotension (low blood pressure), flushing, tingling sensations or anaphylactic shock. Sulfur additives also destroy vitamins B1 and E and are not recommended for consumption by children. The International Labour Organization of the UN says to avoid E220 if you suffer from conjunctivitis, bronchitis, emphysema, bronchial asthma, or cardiovascular disease. It is found in beer, soft drinks, dried fruit, juices, cordials, wine, vinegar, and potato products.”
“Potassium Bromate and Potassium Sorbate: Potassium Bromate is an additive used to increase volume in some white flour, and is found mostly in breads and rolls. Potassium bromate is known to cause cancer in animals. Even small amounts in bread can create problems for humans… Food and chemical toxicology reports have labeled potassium sorbate as a carcinogen, showing positive mutation results in the cells of mammals. Other studies have shown broad systemic and toxic effects on non-reproductive organs in animals.”
